I never know where to begin these things–partly because I’m writing this to see how this site will look once a post is live, and partly because my intentions for this site are terrifying to me in the same way that any truly worthwhile journey might be. I’m thinking now of a trip J and I took to Overland Track. We envisioned spending an easy couple of nights in the huts along the journey before heading back to the comfort of our rental car, but Tasmania had other plans for us. On our second night out, a blizzard dropped enough snow to bury most of the track markers, and a walk that had taken two hours the day before turned into a 12-hour journey. That day, I learned I can push through pretty much anything if I want something badly enough.
This site is for that kind of journey. Stay tuned for more, once I get the design right.
